Collective Engineering is working with Jordi Construct and Become. Architecture to deliver the EST08470 – SDM Taree General Reserves Depot (GRES) Refurbishment project for Defence Australia and Macquarie Barracks.

Key deliverables of the $6.8M project include:

• A new Cadet Multi-Use Facility supporting training and activities, such as classrooms for up to 65 Cadets and staff, a simulation room, computer rooms, offices, and storerooms
• Refurbishment of the Drill Hall, including internal space upgrades, service enhancements, and a roof replacement
• External works such as the demolition of redundant structures, refurbishment of stormwater swales and sewerage systems, and repair of the parade grounds

The design phase is progressing well, with the project scheduled to run until November 2024.
